The volatility in the steel market continues. Raw material prices continue to rise. In August,
major North American steel mills raised prices again for all new orders for delivery in September.

Effective Monday, October 4, 2010, the prices of Armstrong Commercial and Retail
Suspension Systems will increase by 5%. However, Commercial prices will increase 10% in
the markets listed below and illustrated on the attached map. Price levels in these markets are
currently insufficient to recover the elevated steel costs that necessitated the February and
May price increases earlier this year.
