The major steel mills have instituted additional price increases effective immediately.
Chicago Metallic has tried to be conservative in raising prices this past year.
Unfortunately, we now need to pass along these increases in steel costs.

As a result, Chicago Metallic Corporation will be raising pricing on all acoustical
and drywall suspension products in the range of 8 – 15%, depending on
geographical location. In particular, markets in the North East and South East
will be going up at the higher end of this increase range. The price increase is
effective with all orders shipping on or after Monday, September 20th.
